yeah i know, matoyomi is the main ship, but let me ship this too? yuu suffered so much bullying and abuse to the point she had to swap lives with her otherself just to be able to cope, and then mato came into her life and became her FIRST ACTUAL FRIEND. and mato was literally willing to undergo brutal fights in the otherworld (including turning into mfing INSANE BLACK ROCK SHOOTER) just to save yuu from her trauma. if that's not pure gay devotion i don't know what is. and their dynamic is SO cute??? like the gif above is just one example, every time they have a light-hearted interaction it's so cute. gosh I love them
