haruka is by far one of the most sympathetic characters in milgram, from the abusive mother to the absent father (who is theorized to have abandoned him) and the mental health issues and dedication to praise that resulted. all of this eventually culminated in him committing at least one murder, possibly several.
originally scared and weakened (pun not intended) due to the stress of the first trial he was put through for his actions, haruka's mental health became arguably worse after y'all decided to vote him innocent. his mental view of what happened the day of the murder has become more psychotic, and he has more thoughts about killing animals (YABAI!!).
honestly, i feel really sorry for him and, while I'm not denying that he is guilty of murder, he definitely needs to get out of his home and seek professional help. haruka is extremely broken because of his rough upbringing and is also extremely psychologically regressed as a result of said upbringing.
overall, haruka is a wet cat and deserves a hug from es, jackalope, and the nine other prisoners. bonus points because weakness and all knowing and all agony are straight FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
